How people treat you is their karma; how you react is yours....

Today, while driving home, I saw this bag laying on the streets. So I stopped the car, looked around if I saw anyone whom it could belong to, but I saw nobody and decided to take it home with me. When I got home I checked it out en found a wallet with some cards in it and a mobile phone. While snooping around in the phone trying to find out who it belonged to, I found a contact called mom in the adressebook. So I sent a sms to "mom" where I tell her I found the bag and it could be collected. She immediately called me back to let me know how happy she was I found the bag and that she felt blessed that I was honest enough to contact the owner because there were some very important papers in that purse. Altough it was just the right thing to do, I felt like I had done a good deed and I loved the feeling it gave me!

I try to do good deeds regularly because I do believe al it takes is one good deed to change a life and change the world. You may never know when you touch peoples hearts, but you allways do... You never know how badly that compliment was needed or how much your criticism affected somebody.

A couple of years ago I found this website which gives me lots of inspiration to help people. Have a look at it! http://www.helpother.org/ There are some beautiful stories on there and though I havent posted a lot of stories I did do a few, and THIS is one of them.
What is your lastest "good deed", or how did you touch a heart?

This is an amazing post. I love doing community service and it's great you get such an intrinsic reward from it. :) You did an amazing thing considering most people wouldn't do the same.

Girl, you're really honest and that's really so lovely of you to do so:)
Its good as the other end must be worrying so much about her lost item or documents !

I too try to do good deeds from time to time, the joy it brings back to me is unexplainable !
