For a long time I did not like to wear the black and white combination. It always made me feel like I looked like a waiter or something.

But lately I changed my mind. I rediscovered the black and white outfit all over again and find myself wanting to these colors very often. The combination of white fabrics with black firm materials just has a real chic, mysterious, vintage vibe to it. It is just like a black/white picture, it gives you a certain feeling…

But when used with other materials it gets this futuristic sense which I personally love. It also makes other colors pop out. So if have a new, for example orange, nail polish which you want to show off, it just pops when worn with black and white!

Is there really such a thing as too much jewelry? I mean that can not be true right. A beautifull piece of jewelry like beautfull earrings or an astonishing necklace is like a walking around in a piece of art. And you never hear anybody complaining about art...

The thing about jewelry is that it is important not to let it get overshadowed by your outfit. Like Coco Chanel said; "before you go out the door, take one thing off"

I am totally feeling these new, almost "chocker-like" necklaces. This is an upcoming trend I think. Wear a bold necklace with a simple sheer nude tanktop to complete the look and leave anough space let your personality shine through. Because in the end of the day, the best accesoire is a confident and happy face.

Oke, I must admit summer is not in the near future for us Dutchies. It will take months before a nice hot sunray will hit my skin, and maybe, the summer will never even really come this year. Everything is possible in Holland, but, that should not stop me from buying sunglasses, cute sandals, summer denim jackets and all  that jazz. Because not getting these items at all is like giving up on hope, giving up on summer, and I am not ready to do that.

So, I am still browsing the net searching for those amazing vintage or new sunglasses hoping to be able to wear them with my new cut up jeans. But if the whole cut-up-jeans-drinking-margarithas-while-tanning-on-the-beach-thing doesnt work out this year, I am not hesitant to wear the glasses in the snow, if I really have to...
